SPOILER: There’s still no turbo. ;)

I really like the new color, it’s tied for my favorite Toyobaru color along with the BRZ’s Hyper Blue.

Also a pretty big fan of the forged wheels and interior updates.

Although they seem to have removed the TRD springs and exhaust that were on the RS1.0. I’d like to have seen those remain, or perhaps some version of a suspension upgrade; like stiffer lowering springs, revalved shocks, and a sway bar kit.

If I didn’t already have an FR-S, I’d be pretty tempted to buy one.

I sorta miss seeing a release series 1.0 with its polarizing body kit, it gave it that “look at me, I’m cool!” Scion attitude.

However, that chin spoiler and trunk spoiler in the 2.0 is nicely subtle. I was expecting at least an upgraded exhaust or something performance-related to help it better stand out. Forged wheels are awesome and that two-tone interior is pretty sweet since it reminds me of the ‘02 Miata Special Edition.

The lunar exterior color isn’t what I was expecting for a release series, it looks so...bland and beige-ish. Then again, I’m not Scion’s marketing department so I don’t know how quickly these will be spoken for. :B

I figured it’s a pretty underwhelming release for most people. I just really like the color and wheels, mostly. The front and rear spoilers are nice subtle styling upgrades too.

Yeah, the series.blue is the special BRZ, but I don’t think there’s an updated version of it.

I had a BRZ, it’s a great car. The attention it got was so funny. And it doesn’t need a turbo, doesn’t need more hp, it’s fine as is. Mr. Tetsuya Tada got it right, he got it oh so right.
